A pet can bring a lifetime of joy, love, and treasured memories.

We are a small, family-oriented veterinary clinic that loves to treat each pet as our own! Serving Ouachita Parish, Richland Parish, Morehouse Parish and Franklin Parish.

OUR MISSION

Little Veterinary Services is a full service veterinary clinic focusing on the care and well being of our pets and our clients. We want our patients to get the highest quality care without clients feeling like owning a pet is not affordable.

DIAGNOSTICS & WELLNESS

From nose to tail, we want your pet to enjoy the benefits of good health. Annual veterinary exams for adult pets and routine visits for puppies, kitties, young pets, and senior pets can do just this. Your pet may not be able to speak, but wellness checks can speak for them and support the best quality of life for your companion animal.

DENTAL

Your pet’s oral health is a good indicator of his or her overall well-being. We check the teeth and gums at every wellness exam to look for signs of infection or other dental problems. Additionally, you can schedule an appointment for a dental cleaning under general anesthesia. Our staff works with clients to teach them proper toothbrushing techniques for an at-home routine.

SURGERY

Some of the most common surgeries we perform include tooth extraction, removal of skin masses, bladder stones, and surgery for various types of cancer. Regardless of the type of surgery your pet needs, his or her veterinarian will let you know exactly what you can expect. This includes the surgical procedure itself as well as the recovery at home.

PREVENTATIVE

Preventive medications help your pet stay healthy by keeping parasites away. We will help identify which paraciticides are best for your pet based on his or her age, overall health and lifestyle. In our geographic area, it’s highly important to ensure your pet is protected from these diseases such as heartworm or Lyme disease.

SENIOR PET HEALTH

Although the age at which dogs and cats are considered a senior can vary by breed, we like to start seeing pets for bi-annual exams around age seven. Like people, older pets have an increased risk of kidney disease, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, liver disease, senility, and general weakness. Staying on top of these issues helps improve the quality of life for your pet in the senior years. Mobility challenges and behavior changes are also more common with older pets.

PET IDENTIFICATION

We offer microchipping services to help you ensure your pet has the best change of being reunited with you should you ever become separated. This powerful technology is only the size of a grain of rice but contains your pet’s identifying information and our contact information.

KIND WORDS FROM OUR CLIENTS

Loving Little Vet! She is very knowledgeable and not focused on running up costs like other local vets

Stephan D.

My Silver Lab, Sterling, LOVES going to the Vet to see Dr. Little! He absolutely adores Dr. Little and Brandi! Dr. Little is amazing at what she does. She takes her time with you and never rushes in and out. You can tell she loves animals and what she does. I recommend her to everyone I know with a pet because she is the best, no doubt! Plus her prices are so reasonable! It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to get your pet checked out and healthy! 10 out of 10 every time!! We LOVE Little Veterinary Services

Haley K.

We feel very lucky to have found Dr. Little. She has been so good to our new puppy, and has been extremely helpful teaching us all about our dog’s health, diet, and even mannerisms. Her entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Little goes above and beyond to care for her patients. She even followed up with us to check on our puppy when she was sick. Highly recommend their office!
